Focus on team work
Hi, my name Timo Münch and I am completing my training as an electronics technician for units and systems. I decided on this training program because I have always been interested in technology, especially electronics, and I really enjoyed my internships in this field. I applied to SEW-EURODRIVE because it is famous for its good training programs and you hear a lot of good things about the company. A few of my relatives also work in the company.
My daily routine looks something like this: write the weekly report, complete the set tasks, clean up the workplace towards the end of the day and sweep the workshop. The tasks themselves are extremely diverse: assemble and measure PC boards, search for faults on PC boards...
I often work together with colleagues. If something is unclear I discuss it with them and we work together to find a solution. Team work is definitely a focus in the company.

The largest project in the first year of training is the 19" housing – a power supply unit has to be constructed first. This is followed by a low-voltage power supply unit and a measuring module. For the power supply module you have to wind the transformer's coils yourself, assemble the PC board and machine the housing and the front panel independently. You use soldering irons, power supply units, multimeters, circuit board holders, pliers and screwdrivers as well as an oscilloscope. I most enjoy soldering and assembling PC boards.

SEW-EURODRIVE is a reliable employer who provides secure employment. The pay is also good and you have a wide range of development opportunities: When I finish my training, I can look at training to become a foreman or technician, start a degree program or work as a specialist.
