These are the key areas you will study during the business information systems program

  • Business information systems methodology: Business process and project management, systems design
  • Business administration: Management, controlling, accounting, finance, and company management
  • Computer science: Basic concepts of IT, software engineering, databases, developing mobile apps

The practical phase at SEW-EURODRIVE

  • Gaining insights into the layout and structure of our global IT system
  • Getting to know our specialist business administration departments, e.g. material and production management, sales, controlling, HR, and finance
  • Participating in a whole host of tasks handled by our specialist departments, e.g. programming in the SAP environment or project and process management for IT concepts
  • Putting together IT concepts, then coordinating and implementing them, testing them, and rolling them out
  • Looking after our systems and supporting our users in the various departments on a day-to-day operational basis
  • Placements at one of our international branches or at our sales offices in Germany are possible
