As an electronics technician for units and systems, you will learn all about planning and implementing electronic circuits. The focus in electronics production is on producing components for electronic drives. As an electronics technician for units and systems, you are a true all-rounder. You develop high-performance test systems and test setups. You design and produce circuits. You have to apply your knowledge and skills in equal measure.
The practical part of your basic training predominantly takes place at our plant in Graben-Neudorf. Some of the technical training is provided in Bruchsal. A professional team of experienced trainers will give you regular feedback and will always be on hand to offer advice and support. You will also benefit from the state-of-the-art training center we are opening in Graben-Neudorf in fall 2025.
Alongside your practical training, you will be taught the relevant theory in the classes you attend and also in seminars about work methods, teamwork, and many other topics. You will attend the Balthasar-Neumann-Schule 1 vocational school in Bruchsal two days a week.
As an electronics technician for units and systems you could, for example, opt to work as a specialist in electronics production or plant maintenance. If you have big ideas for your future and want to continue developing your skills, you could also choose to undertake further training as a supervisor or specialist technician. You will already have the most important prerequisites – character, strong abilities, and excellent commitment.

The entry requirement for our apprenticeship as an electronics technician for units and systems is a mid-level diploma (Mittlere Reife) from a vocational high school (Werkrealschule, Realschule, or Fachschule).
