To create a solid foundation, the first part of your three-year apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration provides the fundamental skills associated with IT support, hardware and software products, networks, servers / data centers, and IT security. Your training will also include practical tasks in areas such as IT support, IT maintenance, and setting up networks.
The practical part of your training takes place at our Bruchsal and Graben-Neudorf sites. A professional team of experienced trainers will give you regular feedback and will always be on hand to offer advice and support. You will also benefit from the state-of-the-art training center we are opening in Graben-Neudorf in fall 2025.
Alongside your practical training, you will be taught the relevant theory in the classes you attend and also in seminars about work methods, teamwork, and many other topics. You will attend the Berufliche Schulen Bretten vocational school one or two days a week.
After completing your training, you can work in our IT department as an IT specialist for system integration, in areas such as support, hardware and software selection, networks, servers / data centers, and IT security. Besides participating in regular training courses relating to the latest IT topics and technologies, you can also take up a variety of further training options, such as training to become a certified IT project manager or a certified IT specialist.
The stipend we pay you is clearly regulated, based on the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in North Württemberg / North Baden:
Money isn't everything, though. You can look forward to numerous other benefits, including a 35-hour week, flextime days, special bonuses, a company pension, a travel allowance, a canteen, and much more besides!
The entry requirement for our apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration is a mid-level diploma (Mittlere Reife) from a vocational high school (Werkrealschule, Realschule, or Fachschule).
Grades are not the sole factor we consider in our decisions about training positions – they are more a way of ensuring you get an interview. It is important that your personal capabilities suit both the training and us as a company. The qualities we look for include logical thinking, flexibility, determination, dynamism, and an interest in new technologies.
