What does SEW-EURODRIVE actually do?
"We drive the world" – that is our slogan, and it can certainly be taken literally. After all, SEW-EURODRIVE is one of the world's leading manufacturers of drive technology and automation solutions. We develop and produce gearmotors, control technology, inverters, and automation software.
As a result, we are keeping things moving in a whole range of industrial sectors across every continent – for example in port logistics, automotive production, beverage filling systems, conveyor belts at airports, and much more besides.
What's more, just as the world is constantly changing, we are also constantly developing – both our products and as a company. This process requires skilled new employees in the fields of technology, IT, and administration.

Obviously we can't guarantee you a job. But if you give it your all, then your chances of being taken on are very high! As a family-owned company, most of our earnings flow straight back into the company. We therefore plan for the long term and stand by our employees, even in periods of crisis.
Variety
We make sure that you are not just a spectator – we get you actively involved. And if you want to switch departments or your area of activity, that's no problem at all. We encourage personal initiative and commitment! If you do well in your studies, you can also complete an international placement or work in one of our technical offices.
Subsidies
We are always there to help. We also support you materially – our trainees can purchase tools at an affordable rate, for example. We provide laptops for all our students and IT/commercial trainees.
Seminar program
Our trainees and cooperative study program students benefit from a comprehensive program of seminars. We have not outsourced our seminars – we are dedicated and committed to holding these ourselves. The seminars are not just about imparting specialist knowledge, but also focus on your personal development. Team spirit is important to us.
Leisure program
We also offer an extensive leisure program, covering a wide range of options from music to sport. Incidentally, if you want to get even more involved, you can get together with other trainees to set up leisure programs of your own for all employees.
The future of learning – our DriveEducation training center
Our trainees and students benefit from our new DriveEducation training center at the Graben-Neudorf site: It combines vocational training and study under one roof on a floor space of over 9000 m². The new center with green roofs, rainwater use and photovoltaics offers various workshops and laboratories with state-of-the-art technology and machines, IT training and project rooms, and plenty of space to gain interdisciplinary practical experience on innovative future topics – according to our maxim: Introduction, training, specialization.
Located directly at the station, the training center has a direct public transport connection and is therefore easily accessible by train from Mannheim, Germersheim, Speyer, Karlsruhe, Bruchsal and Kraichtal.
