My name is Nikolas Zöller. I am completing my training as an industrial clerk. SEW-EURODRIVE is a global family-owned company with extremely good training opportunities. The reason that I chose SEW-EURODRIVE was its proximity to my home and the name recognition as well as the atmosphere within the company. I found out about the company through family and various education forums.
A typical work day starts at six in the morning. I immediately head to the office in my current department. You are generally assigned a wide range of tasks, which I tackle one at a time and which I can sometimes arrange myself. During breaks I catch up with my fellow trainees at the company's canteen. Besides the activities in the technical departments, we also always attend technical discussions with department or group managers, which are very informative and interesting. The technical discussions are a great help in improving our understanding of SEW-EURODRIVE and the overall interrelationships.
All in all SEW-EURODRIVE is a top employer. I particularly appreciate the environment within the company and the cooperation between the departments. And you also can't complain about the stipend.
The best thing about my training is that you get to know a lot of people and establish a broad network. Working in the various departments familiarizes you with how everything works at SEW-EURODRIVE. From ordering through to the finished product. You are never written-off as “good for nothing” in any of the departments and can implement and perform all the processes. SEW-EURODRIVE is a company that combines different cultures from a range of nations. This also helps establish a fantastic working environment.
All in all SEW-EURODRIVE is a top employer. I particularly appreciate the environment within the company and the cooperation between the departments. And you also can't complain about the stipend, regardless of the year.
After completing your training, you have almost unlimited opportunities. For example, I have the opportunity to complete my university entrance qualification or to continue developing internally. I look forward to the upcoming activities both during and after my training.
