Are you looking for possible careers for your child and your students? What about a training or cooperative study program at SEW-EURODRIVE? As one of the world's leading providers of drive systems we are well-equipped for the future.
Our corporate culture is characterized by freedom, reliability and personal interaction. We want to progress together and continue to develop our good market position. That's why we place a great deal of importance on forward-looking training with good prospects.
We give your child and your students the best opportunities in a safe training environment – and outstanding development options. Find out more about our training concept and offers here.
Our training concept
As a family-owned company we particularly promote open and respectful interaction with each other. We often work in teams – but we also require responsibility and autonomy. This allows our trainees and students to continue to develop their personality, rely on others and trust in their skills. Because they will soon have to stand on their own two feet.
Our training concept also includes seminars on personality development, which we design and implement ourselves. This strengthens cooperation in the group and makes learning enjoyable.
We take our responsibility seriously: our trainees and students are supported by expert instructors and a range of specialists. This allows us to provide individual support and we can respond to questions and wishes with great flexibility.
We are committed even before the training starts. We want to inspire enthusiasm for technical topics amongst young people and get them interested in exciting tasks and activities in developing and producing drive solutions that are used around the world. That's why we cooperate with schools and universities, offer student internships and school projects and are involved in numerous trade shows and information events and the Girls`Day as well.
We are a cooperation partner with many schools in the region as part of the “Business provides education” initiative. As an active supporter of the Student Engineering Academy Karlsruhe, we want to give students who are interested in science the opportunity to find out more about the engineering profession.
Our annual parents' information evening aims to offer you valuable answers on how your child could continue his or her education after completing secondary school. Vocational training, university studies or continued schooling? Representatives of schools and businesses join our discussions about this question and show possible solutions.
The aim of the training is to obtain employment. In the past we have been able to offer employment to all trainees who displayed good commitment and who performed well. Your son or daughter can expect a safe and secure workplace: as a family-owned company, SEW-EURODRIVE invest the majority of its earnings back into the company. We are focused on the future and stand by our employees – even in times of crisis.
We place great importance on development and career prospects: we regularly hold individual discussions on the topics of assessment and qualification. Committed trainees can, for example, subsequently complete their supervisor or specialist technician training and even further their studies. Students completing the cooperative study program can then go on to start their Master's – once they are included in our StudentsWorld network we stay in regular contact and discuss career prospects. Or they can start working for us straight after completing the cooperative study program – and be invited to join individual development measures as a result of their commitment and dedication.
