As an industrial clerk you are responsible for ensuring smooth business processes – nothing works without you.

We make sure that you are extremely well prepared for this important task: right from the very beginning we integrate your practical training into the activities performed by our commercial departments in the Bruchsal and Graben-Neudorf plants. For example, this includes Purchasing, Sales, Finances as well as HR and Marketing.

After completing your training, you will know how the industrial company SEW-EURODRIVE is structured and how the company's processes interact with each other. The practical part of your training predominantly takes place at the Bruchsal site.

At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented by theoretical knowledge at the vocational school.

After completing your training, you have the opportunity to work in one of the departments that you have already become familiar with. Here you will independently complete the tasks assigned to you. For example, in Sales you will work on documenting and checking customer orders, while you may be responsible for processing material orders for production in Purchasing or assigning invoice payments in the finance department.

You can also choose from a range of development opportunities depending on the department in which you are employed: such as an industrial business administrator, accountant or human resources manager.

What you need to start the industrial clerk training program

To start the industrial clerk training program, you must have completed secondary school. It is important that your personal skills fit the training and us as a company. These include enjoying your work and the will to drive things forward. Grades are not the only factor in our decisions about training positions; rather, they secure your ticket to the interview. We are interested in the overall picture and particularly your grades in German and mathematics.

Unlimited opportunities

My name is Nikolas Zöller. I am completing my training as an industrial clerk. SEW-EURODRIVE is a global family-owned company with extremely good training opportunities. The reason that I chose SEW-EURODRIVE was its proximity to my home and the name recognition as well as the atmosphere within the company.
