Do you find your computer, smartphone or tablet indispensable? You know your way around technology but can also imagine working in a commercial profession? Then this training program is the right one for you.
As part of your training, you are integrated into everyday working life from the very beginning. You receive an insight into our entire IT division and also pass through our commercial departments, such as Purchasing, Sales and Service as well as HR and Marketing. You will quickly find out how SEW-EURODRIVE operates and will be able to identify the connections between a department and the supporting IT systems. That's precisely what this job is about.
You implement the requirements of the commercial departments in complex hardware and software projects. In IT you also find out how the information and communication systems work, what they are used for and how they are managed. You always work with the latest technologies. You also find out how user knowledge is passed on to users of these systems, such as via a hotline or through training courses.
The practical part of your training predominantly takes place at the Bruchsal site. At the same time, your practical training will be supplemented by theoretical knowledge at the vocational school.

After completing your training, you may either join a commercial or an IT department. Your commercial background knowledge ensures that our IT systems and programs are correctly planned, introduced and used in the various departments. Ongoing training in individual areas of specialization is definitely on your agenda due to the rapid development of technology.

To start training as an Commercial specialist for digitalisation management, you must have completed secondary school. It is important that your personal skills fit the training and us as a company. These include enjoying your work and the will to drive things forward. Grades are not the only factor in our decisions about training positions; rather, they secure your ticket to the interview. We are interested in the overall picture and particularly your grades in German, mathematics and English.
The training stipend is clearly regulated. SEW-EURODRIVE pays its trainees the following salary based on the collective agreement with the Nordwürttemberg/Nordbaden metal and electrical industry:
