Mass moment of inertia
- Menu: 4.2.11-1.5
Description
Setpoint of the mass moment of inertia relative to the total moment of inertia of the drive (sum of the mass moments of inertia of motor, brake, gear unit, and load).
In the drive functions FCB 06 Interpolated speed control and FCB 10 Interpolated position control, you can specify that the mass moment of inertia and a torque precontrol for the mass moment of inertia change are specified for the inverter via process data (e.g. depending on the motor angle).
This setting can be used if the track is subject to a position-dependent load torque (e.g. toggle mechanism) but the controller still has to be set stiffly.
The following parameters are set:
Parameter | Meaning |
---|---|
Specifies from which source the setpoint is retrieved. | |
The parameter specifies the data format of the process output data word if a process output data word was selected as the source of the setpoint. The process output data words are data sources with a word width of 16 bits and can be combined to a 32-bit value using the data format. This parameter has no effect on data sources with a word width of 32 bits and is not displayed. | |
Value | Current setpoint of the mass moment of inertia that is used in the following drive functions:
If the Local value setting has been specified for the Source parameter, the user can specify the value locally. The locally specified setpoint can be useful, for example, in the startup phase to specifically specify setpoints for the inverter without a higher-level controller that has already been started up. The local value is stored in a non-volatile memory. |
