The following settings are possible:

Setting

Meaning

Bipolar/fixed setpoint

The fixed setpoints are processed according to their signs.

Unipolar/fixed setpoint

The fixed setpoints are processed in accordance with their value. The direction of rotation is specified by a bit of the digital inputs (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card) or by a bit of the control words (parameter group Setpoints > Control word).

Bipolar/fixed setpoint + analog setpoint

The setpoint is calculated from the sum of the fixed setpoint and the setpoint at the analog input specified in the Analog setpoint source parameter.

Fixed setpoint and analog setpoint are processed according to their signs.

The analog setpoint is scaled with the parameters of the parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card.

Bipolar/fixed setpoint * analog setpoint

The setpoint of the analog setpoint specified in the Analog setpoint source parameter serves as the evaluation factor of the fixed setpoint: -10000 V – 10000 V ≙ -100% – 100%.

The fixed setpoint is processed with sign.

The analog setpoint is scaled with the parameters of the parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card.

Motor potentiometer/fixed setpoint

The setpoint is generated by the motor potentiometer. For this purpose, a bit of the digital inputs (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card) or a bit of the control words (parameter group Setpoints > Control word) must be set to Motor potentiometer – up and another bit to Motor potentiometer – down.

The direction of rotation is also specified by a bit of the digital inputs or a bit of the control words.

Primary frequency setpoint

The setpoint is generated by the primary frequency input. The speed is generated via a rectangular frequency signal. For this purpose, the following digital input (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit) must be set to Primary frequency input:

  • For MOVI‑C® decentralized drive electronics in the DBC and DAC communication variants– digital inputDI 03
  • For other inverters of the MOVI‑C® modular automation system – digital input DI 04

The setpoint is scaled with the paramaters of the parameter group Setpoints > Primary frequency input.

Mechanical setting elements

The setting is displayed for MOVI-C® decentralized drive electronics in the DBC and DAC communication variants.

The fixed setpoints are specified by means of mechanical control elements (DIP switches, potentiometer).

DIP switch S2/2 can be used to select analog input AI 1 as the source for setpoint f1 instead of potentiometer f1. In this case, analog input AI 1 has the same scaling as potentiometer f1. This value is fixed and cannot be changed.

DefaultSetting

The setting depends on the device.
