Fixed setpoints
- Menu: 4.2.10
Description
Fixed setpoints always have a higher priority than other setpoints.
The fixed setpoints for the speed are active if the following conditions are met:
- In the parameter group Setpoints > Setpoint value connection, the Fixed setpoints – speed setting was defined for the Speed parameter.
- Either a bit of the digital inputs (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card) or a bit of the control words (parameter group Setpoints > Control word) is parameterized and set to Fixed speed setpoint bit. 6 fixed speed setpoints can be set from bit combinations. If the bit combination leads to the result 0 or 7, no fixed setpoint is active.
The fixed setpoints for the acceleration and deceleration are active if the following conditions are met:
- In the parameter group Setpoints > Profile value connection, the setting Fixed setpoints – acceleration/Fixed setpoints – deceleration was defined for the Maximum acceleration/Maximum deceleration parameter.
- Either a bit of the digital inputs (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card) or a bit of the control words (parameter group Setpoints > Control word) is parameterized to Activate Acceleration 2/Deceleration 2. When the bit is active, the fixed setpoints Acceleration 2 and Deceleration 2 are used.
Some devices offer the emulation of a motor potentiometer function. The motor potentiometer function is used to change speed setpoints with fixed acceleration and deceleration.
