This is where you find the right drive

A year ago I started with SEW-EURODRIVE as an intern in the area of image processing. At the time I wanted to get involved in the area of robotics and my professor suggested SEW-EURODRIVE. It was quite difficult at the start for me, because there are no lectures on the subject of image processing in the mechatronics degree and everything was therefore completely new.

But, thanks to my supervisor, I was not left on my own with a subject I know little about. Instead, he really made an effort to gradually introduce me to the subject by assigning tasks on a systematic basis. Over time I gradually became more involved with the subject and, at the end, I had not only acquired significant knowledge about image processing, but had also become really interested in taking the subject further. I am now writing my bachelor's thesis on the subject of “optical object recognition” and am delighted with the great collaboration on this.

For students who like taking on challenges, I would definitely recommend a semester internship or final paper with SEW-EURODRIVE. You can achieve a lot with the company and, of course, learn a lot as well.

So far I have found the working atmosphere at SEW-EURODRIVE to be very friendly and pleasant. I am continually well supported by experienced employees. This is actually one of the key factors which motivates me to take on more demanding tasks.

For students who like taking on challenges, I would definitely recommend a semester internship or a final paper at SEW-EURODRIVE. If you are prepared to show complete commitment, you can achieve a lot with SEW-EURODRIVE and, of course, learn a lot in the process.
