Speed filter s1

Description

The distance of the speed filter is the integral of the speed above the limit speed over the time in which the speed is above the limit speed (area dt in the diagram).

For example, if the limit speed is set to 100 mm s-1 but the speed increases up to 120 mm s-1, the values 0 to 20 mm s-1 are integrated over the time in which the speed is over 100 mm s-1.

When the value is 0, the speed filter is not active.

If the value is greater than 0:

  • When the limit speed is exceeded, the distance is built up.
  • When the distance of the speed filter is exceeded, the specified error response is triggered.
  • When the speed drops back below the limit speed, the distance is reduced.
