Description

Define which safety sub-function is assigned to the safe digital input F‑DI.

The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE^®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.

The following parameters are set:

Parameter	Meaning
Latching	When a safety sub-function is activated via the safe digital input, the lock prevents the safety sub-function from being deactivated by a signal change at the safe digital input (from signal state 0 to signal state 1). The safe digital input remains locked until it is unlocked by another safe digital input or via safe process data.
Function 1	Defines the function or safety sub-function that is assigned to the safe digital input. Select the required function/safety sub-function from the drop-down list.
Function 2 – Function 4	Define the safety sub-function that is assigned to the safe digital input. Select the required safety sub-function from the drop-down menu. For some combinations, multiple safety sub-functions can be assigned to one safe digital input.
