Description
When a safety sub-function is activated via the safe digital input F-DI, the lock prevents the safety sub-function from being deactivated by a signal change at the safe digital input (from signal state 0 to signal state 1). The safe digital input remains locked until it is unlocked by one of the following methods:
- Via another safe digital input that is parameterized to Unlatch F-DI or to Unlatch F-DI and acknowledge faults.
- If the safe digital input parameterized to the unlock function permanently has the signal state 1, a warning is issued after 20 s.
- Via the bit Unlock F‑DI in the safe process output data
A locked safe digital input remains in locked state – including every time the safety option is activated – until an unlocking function is executed.
If one of the following functions/safety sub-functions is assigned to the safe digital input, the lock function must not be activated:
- All acknowledgment functions and unlock functions
- Position – SLI increment enable
- Brake test – SBT clearance
- Muting
- Test mode
The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.
