FCB 26 Stop at user-defined limits

Description

FCB 26 is used to stop at user-defined limits. The limit value is specified by the parameters Maximum decelerationandJerk time (parameter group Setpoints > Profile value connection). If these profile values are outside the application limits (parameter group Monitoring functions > Limit values), the deceleration is limited to the application limit.

FCB 26 can be used to stop both subject to speed control and subject to position control. In position-controlled mode, FCB 26 provides lag error monitoring.

When the motor comes to a standstill, neither the brake is applied nor the DynaStop® function is activated.

Unlike to the other stop drive functions (FCB 13 Stop at application limits and FCB 14 Emergency stop), the FCB 26 has a very low priority. For example, it can be set by default by a bit of the control words. In this case and if all other FCBs are deactivated, FCB 26 is always active and the drive can always be stopped subject to position control.
