Description
The parameter is displayed when Encoder . is set for the Speed source for overspeed protection parameter.
Limit for monitoring overspeed in relation to motor revolutions. This prevents the mechanical limit speed of the encoder from being exceeded.
If the overspeed limit is exceeded, the error E-13.57 encoder 1 / E-14.57 encoder 2 / E‑15.57 encoder 3: maximum speed exceeded is triggered and the STO safety sub-function is activated immediately in response to the error. The brake application time is not taken into account.
For the MOVISAFE® CSA31A safety option, the overspeed limit is specified by the user in the Assist CS.. tool.
For the MOVISAFE® CSS..A safety option, the overspeed limits are fixed values depending on the encoder type:
