Description

Defines whether direct referencing can be activated.

Direct referencing can be activated as follows:

  • Via the safe process data of the higher-level safety controller
  • Via a safe digital input F‑DI

To activate direct referencing via the safe process output data, the bits Activate direct referencing and Execute direct referencing must be activated. The rising edge of the Activate direct referencing bit must be followed by the rising edge of the Execute direct referencing bit within a time of 60 s. The two bits must be set within 500 ms of one another.

During referencing, the drive must be at a standstill and, for 500 ms, the position must not move by more than the value of the Position hysteresis parameter from the parameter group Basic settings.

If direct referencing is activated in the function assignment via the rising edge of a parameterized safe digital input, the bits of the safe process output data are not evaluated.

If direct referencing is executed without errors, the status bit Referenced is reported to the higher-level safety controller via the safe process input data.

The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.
