Description

The parameter is displayed if the following conditions are met:

  • The encoder is used for calculating the position.
  • The encoder is used to determine the absolute position (Modulo absolute position or Absolute position with limited travel distance set in the Position mode application parameter).
  • The reference position is determined using the current raw position of the encoder (Referencing via parameters setting in the Referencing type parameter).

Position value of the encoder that has not yet been converted to other values.

The current raw position cannot be copied from the Raw position parameter (parameter group Diagnostics > MOVISAFE® CS.. > Encoder evaluation) until the parameter settings for the encoder evaluation are transferred to the safety option.

The safety option calculates the reference offset from the current raw position and the current position of the application (reference position).
