Description
The SBC safety sub-function can only be activated if a brake is configured in drive train 1 during motor startup.
Defines whether the application time is taken into account when activating the STO safety sub-function.
The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.
The following settings are possible:
Setting | Meaning |

1 (yes) | The STO safety sub-function is activated after the Brake application time. If the STO safety sub-function is triggered by a safety sub-function, the brake application time is not effective and STO is activated immediately. The safe digital outputs to which the SBC safety sub-function is assigned are deactivated immediately. The internal safe digital input F‑DO STO and the safe digital outputs to which the STO safety sub-function is assigned are deactivated with a delay after the brake application time has passed. |
0 (no) | The STO safety sub-function is activated immediately. The brake application time is not taken into account. The safe digital outputs to which the SBC or STO safety sub-functions are assigned are deactivated immediately. |
