Description
Defines the direction of rotation of the torque that the motor generates for the brake test.
The following settings are possible:
Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
Positive and negative direction of rotation | The motor generates torque in both directions of rotation. |
Positive direction of rotation | The motor generates torque in the positive direction of rotation. The direction of rotation is considered positive if the encoder delivers a positive speed or a positive increasing position. |
Negative direction of rotation | The motor generates torque in the negative direction of rotation. The direction of rotation is considered negative if the encoder delivers a negative speed or a negative increasing position. |
