Description
Specifies whether the control bits are used that have been parameterized accordingly in the digital inputs or control words.
The following settings are possible:
Setting | Meaning |
---|---|
0 (no) | Positioning is carried out straight away. |
1 (yes) | Positioning starts only with the set control bit. Either a bit of the digital inputs (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit/I/O card) or a bit of the control words (parameter group Setpoints > Control word.) must be parameterized to FCB 09 Position control – feed enable as the control bit. The control bit must remain set throughout the entire positioning process. If the control bit is reset, the positioning process is interrupted. The drive is operated at the defined limit values for deceleration and jerk time until motor standstill, and switches to position control. The original positioning task is maintained. As soon as the control bit is set again, positioning continues. If the control bit is parameterized on several sources (e.g., on 2 bits of the digital inputs, or 1 bit of the digital inputs and 1 bit of the control words), the bits are logically OR-linked. This means that positioning is carried out as long as one of the bits is set. |
