Description

The parameter corresponds to object 0x6060 from the CiA402 device profile.

Specifies the operating mode.

For a detailed description of the operating modes, refer to the specification of the CiA402 device profile.

The following settings are possible:

Setting

Meaning

No mode assigned

No operating mode is selected.

Profile position mode (pp)

This operating mode can be used for relative or absolute positioning.

The position profile is parameterized by the profile generator of the inverter.

Profile velocity mode (pv)

This operating mode allows for simple speed control.

Homing mode (hm)

This operating mode is used to perform a reference travel as defined in the reference travel type.

Cyclic synchronous position mode (csp)

In this operating mode, a new position setpoint is specified cyclically for the inverter.

The position profile is parameterized by the profile generator of the higher-level controller.

Cyclic synchronous velocity mode (csv)

In this operating mode, a new speed setpoint is specified cyclically for the inverter.

The position profile is parameterized by the profile generator of the higher-level controller.

Cyclic synchronous torque mode (cst)

In this operating mode, a new speed setpoint is specified cyclically for the inverter.

The position profile is parameterized by the profile generator of the higher-level controller.

FCB 13 Stop at application limit

This operating mode is used to perform a stop at the application limits.

FCB 18 Rotor position identification

The operating mode is used when synchronous motors are started up by third-party manufacturers.

This operating mode is used to measure the rotor position.

FCB 19 Position hold control

This operating mode keeps the drive in position control without applying the brake.

FCB 21 Brake test

This operating mode is used to check the braking capability of a brake connected to the motor.

FCB 23 Brake test safety card

FCB 21 Brake test

The operating mode is used when asynchronous motors are started up by third-party manufacturers.

This operating mode is used to measure the values of the motor, such as inductance and resistance.
