Primary frequency input
- Menu: 4.2.3
Description
These parameters can be used to set the scaling of the master frequency input in the following cases:
- If the setting Primary frequency setpoint is defined in the parameter group Fixed setpoints for the Operating mode parameter.
- If the following digital input (parameter group Inputs/outputs > Basic unit) is parameterized to Primary frequency input:
- For MOVI‑C® decentralized drive electronics in the DBC and DAC communication variants– digital inputDI 03
- For other inverters of the MOVI‑C® modular automation system – digital input DI 04
Frequency scaling defines at which maximum frequency which maximum speed is reached. The edges of the frequency signal are evaluated. The frequency values are calculated from these edges. The conversion is unipolar and linear. The maximum frequency corresponds to the maximum speed.
f | Primary frequency, [f] = Hz |
v | Speed setpoint at the primary frequency input, [v] = user unit |
fmax | Maximum frequency |
vmax | Maximum speed |
Frequency scaling kHz | Minimum response time (delay) ms |
---|---|
f < 1 | 250 |
f < 5 | 25 |
f < 25 | 5 |
f ≥ 5 | 1 |
The resolution at the frequency input is 0.2% of the specified value for each frequency scaling.
The maximum frequency that can be detected is 125 kHz.
