Description
Specifies the data source of the analog output. Select the required source from the drop-down menu.
Calculating the output value at the analog output
The physical output value at the analog output (voltage output/current output) is calculated from the quantities without units in the device according to the following formula:
[Output value] | = V or mA |
Raw value | Source value without units |
Conversion factor | Fixed value:
  |
Numerator scaling | Parameter Numerator scaling |
Denominator scaling | Parameter Denominator scaling |
Offset | Parameter Voltage offset scaling or Current offset scaling |
The raw value is the measured source value without units scaled with the number of decimal places:
Source value | Quantity of parameter Data source without unit |
Number of decimal places | The number of decimal places depends on the position at which the analog setpoint is to be used:
  |
Example: Calculating an output voltage
The following quantities are given in the example:
Quantity | Value |
|---|---|
Function of the analog output | +/- 10 V output |
Data source of the analog output | Actual speed in user units |
Current actual speed from the parameter Speed as source value (parameter group Diagnostics > Process values > Active drive train) | 20.00 rev. min-1 |
User unit | Rev. min-1 |
Number of decimal places | 2 |
Conversion factor | 1000/1 V |
Numerator scaling | 1 |
Denominator scaling | 5 |
Offset (parameter Voltage offset scaling) | 2.5 V |

[Output voltage] = V |
