What happens during the orientation phase at SEW-EURODRIVE?

As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored orientation plan based on your background knowledge and specific role at the company. We introduce you to the relevant contacts at the company, organize area-specific training courses, and invite you to the “New at SEW” induction day, at which you can get to know other new employees. We also offer all employees a range of seminars for the continuous development of professional and personal skills.

In certain departments, such as development and sales, we provide an additional orientation program that covers specific topics. New employees in field sales, for example, first complete a comprehensive induction phase at our company headquarters, where they are provided with intensive preparation for the responsibilities of a role out in the field. In development, the orientation program also provides the ideal introduction to all key areas at the company.

What working hours models do you offer?

At SEW-EURODRIVE, you benefit from the flexibility of a modern working hours model and generous flextime framework. This enables company requirements, such a flexible adjustment to workloads, to be combined with our employees' private interests. Flextime and free shifts are available to all employees, including specialists working on a shift model.

We offer a range of schemes for part-time workers. How is the remuneration calculated?

You will be paid in accordance with the collective labor agreement for the German metal industry. In addition to a fixed basic salary determined by your role, you will also qualify for variable, performance-related pay. This is supplemented by payments such as Christmas and vacation allowances, as well as pension capital formation payments. Depending on the company results, the board may also resolve to award a special results-based bonus. Under our deferred compensation scheme, you can also elect to transfer your salary into direct insurance or a pension fund.
