Having fun at work
In 2004, after I completed my training as a metalworker in Berlin and got to know several employers, I ended up at SEW-EURODRIVE through a temping agency. As a temporary installation technician for motors, I gained familiarity with various areas of responsibility. Three years later, I had the great opportunity to start here as a permanent employee.
I was able to gain the necessary qualifications to become an inspection mechanic, and now I work in a team with eight colleagues. We primarily install bevel-helical gear units of the 77 and K87 series.
Because I have two young children and my wife also works, the flextime offer means that I sometimes get to take my son to school in the morning.
Working in our team is a lot of fun. I particularly appreciate the great teamwork. You can completely rely on your teammates, and we all really support each other. This results in honest, open communication and every member of the team being able to handle every task. This way, if we have a lot of work to do, we have maximum flexibility for the individual steps while ensuring top quality results.
I'm proud to contribute to SEW-EURODRIVE's success as an inspection mechanic. I personally see SEW-EURODRIVE as very human company. Since I have two young children and my wife also works, the flextime offer means that I sometimes get to take my son to school in the morning. This helps us to combine careers with family life while we have young children. In addition to the positive working environment, an attractive salary, and social benefits, the company also offers the "SEW Leisure Program," a series of very attractive courses that allow you to try new things and meet new people outside of work.
