Open communication wanted

After my training as a heating and ventilation engineer in the 80s, I switched to the industrial sector. I worked primarily as a CNC turner. Through my job with one of SEW-EURODRIVE's suppliers and through a good friend, I found out that the company was looking for fitters for a machining center. I went ahead and applied to SEW-EURODRIVE.

I've now been working as a CNC fitter since May 2007. My task is to modify the machine myself based on specifications from programs and quantities, and to produce the parts. Afterwards, I perform the first article check for certain parts and then approve them.

What I appreciate about my employer is not only a secure job even in times of crisis and the outstanding social benefits, but especially the positive interactions and great corporate culture.

There are two more colleagues in our team. In order for us to work together ideally, it's very important for us to be able to rely on each other. This includes making preparations for the upcoming shift change and keeping the workplace well-organized.

I really appreciate the open communication within the team, and with our supervisors. It means that we can quickly implement suggestions for improvement. We all work together and I'm proud to be part of SEW-EURODRIVE.

What I appreciate about my employer is not only a secure job even in times of crisis and the outstanding social benefits, but especially the friendly interactions and positive corporate culture. People keep their promises. If you're dedicated and you take the initiative, you also have the opportunity to develop further personally and professionally thanks to the extensive continuing development program.
