International customer management
After I completed my bachelor’s degree in management, languages and technologies in October 2012, I found myself drawn back to the diverse Rhine region. That’s why I applied for a position at SEW-EURODRIVE, and I was able to start work at the beginning of 2013.
That first year after I started made it clear to me that I’d made an excellent choice, and I now work in the area of international customer and project management. Not only was my initial welcome warm and open; my position as an International Account & Project Coordinator also suits me and my academic background very well.
In international sales, I am confronted with a number of different tasks, people and cultures every day. This might include assisting in negotiations of international framework agreements with large clients, coordinating international projects in a wide range of industries (for example the automotive industry), collaborating to design internal processes and tools for daily work within the department, or developing and implementing internal projects (such as coordinating various sectors within the airport industry).
Not only was my initial welcome warm and open; my position as an International Account & Project Coordinator also suits me and my academic background very well.
One thing is certain: I will never be bored at SEW-EURODRIVE. However, it is not just the international nature and the diversity of the tasks that motivates me to drive to work each morning with a smile on my face. I also enjoy working at SEW-EURODRIVE because of the great team members who welcomed me openly and always support each other in our daily work, the high level of individual responsibility, and the flexible working hours.
I also see plenty of opportunities for development. There is a range of professional development programs, both in technical areas and on the management level, a variety of training programs, and plenty of opportunities for advancement within the company. SEW-EURODRIVE places great emphasis on its employees and their development.
I’m happy that the company has given me, as a newcomer in the profession, such a perfect opportunity to now put what I learned into practice, and I’m also happy that I took advantage of the range of development programs offered.
