Description

Maximum distance until the next slip adjustment must take place without an error being triggered.

The maximum distance is the sum of the individual distances traveled. The individual distances are processed in terms of the amount. Only distances greater than the Position hysteresis (parameter group Basic settings) are taken into account.

If the value is 0, the monitoring function is not activated.

If no slip adjustment takes place within the maximum distance, the specified error response is executed and the error E66-81 Safety-related fault: maximum distance for slip adjustment exceeded is triggered. The encoder with slip (encoder 1) loses its referencing and has to be referenced again.

If a slip adjustment takes place within the maximum distance, the maximum distance restarts at the position where the relevant function was executed.
