Description
The parameter is only displayed for the MOVISAFE® CSA31A safety option.
The parameter is displayed if the communication profile is used for safe communication.
Specifies which additional 16-bit process data word is to be transferred via the communication profile. Select the required process value from the drop-down menu.
Process data words with a width of 32 bits can be reduced to a process value of 16 bits using the following data formats:
- Saturated to 16 bits: The internal 32-bit process value is limited to a 16-bit process value. It this value exceeds the value range of the 16-bit process value, no overflow occurs; instead the maximum value is limited. This prevents a maximum positive value from changing to a maximum negative value.
- Low word: lower 16 bits of the 32-bit process value
- High word: upper 16 bits of the 32-bit process value
