Description

The parameter is displayed if the following conditions are met:

  • The encoder parameters are adopted from the drive train configuration.
  • The encoder uses one of the following interfaces for data transmission: SSI or SSI combi
  • For an encoder connected to the SSI combination box, the SSI track is evaluated.

Time during which the encoder determines a new position.

SEW‑EURODRIVE recommends that you do not change the default value.

SEW‑EURODRIVE recommends setting the filter time of the encoder for determining the speed (Speed filter time parameter from the parameter group Encoder function) to 10 times the update time.
