Description
Defines which safety sub-function is assigned to the safe digital output F‑DO.
The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.
The following settings are possible:
Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
None | If the safe process data is activated, the safe digital output can be controlled via the safe process output data. If no safe process data is activated, the safe digital output is deactivated. |
STO | The safe digital output is switched at the same time as the internal safe digital output F‑DO STO. The safe digital output cannot be controlled via the safe process output data. |
SBC | The safe digital output is used for the safe control of a brake. The safe digital output cannot be controlled via the safe process output data. The SBC safety sub-function can only be activated if a brake is configured in drive train 1 during motor startup. A brake that is actuated by the safe digital output can only be closed indirectly via safe process data by activating the STO safety sub-function. If the STO safety sub-function is inactive, the inverter controls the brake. |
