Description

Specifies whether the safety option activates the start inhibit after power on.

The parameter setting is specified in the Assist CS.. tool. In MOVISUITE®, the specified setting is only displayed. This description refers to the Assist CS.. tool.

The following settings are possible:

No start inhibit

Start inhibit is not activated.

Start inhibit active

Start inhibit is activated.

When start inhibit is active, the following safety sub-function is activated after switching on the safety option:

Start inhibit can be deactivated as follows:

  • By toggling a safe digital input F-DI that is set to Unlatch F-DI and acknowledge faults or Fault acknowledgement in the parameter group Function assignment.
  • By toggling the Fault acknowledgment bit in the safe process output data.
