Description

Indicates that an encoder error exists. The error can exist, for example, at the encoder interface or in the encoder evaluation. The encoder is generally used as a motor encoder. Only in the case of the MOVISAFE^® CSA..A safety option may a distance encoder also be affected.

If the encoder with the encoder error is involved in the process value formation for safety sub-functions, the safe digital inputs F‑DI or safe digital outputs F‑DO are deactivated depending on the active safety sub-function.
