Description
This parameter applies to absolute encoders.
Specifies the setting of the connected encoder.
The following settings are possible:
Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
Without overflow counter | An overflow is not logged. |
With overflow counter | If the encoder is operated beyond its range, the inverter stores the overflow and fills the position up to 32 bits. The position is retained the next time the inverter is switched on. |
Single-turn absolute position | The position is resolved to one revolution of the encoder. This setting is useful for systems that are operated within one encoder revolution. |
