Behavior at standstill

Description

Specifies the behavior of the drive when motor standstill is detected at the end of the deceleration ramp of a stop function.

INFORMATION

The parameter is effective in the following operating modes: VFCPLUS (with encoder), ELSM® and CFC. At standstill in the other operating modes, the output stage is always inhibited and the brake is applied or the DynaStop® function is activated.

The parameter is used in the following drive functions:

  • FCB 02 Stop default
  • FCB 05 Speed control with activated Stop by setpoint function
  • FCB 13 Stop at application limits
  • FCB 14 Emergency stop

The following settings are possible:

Setting

Meaning

Drive energized (brake released/DynaStop® disabled)

The speed setpoint 0 is held when the motor is at standstill. The brake remains released or the DynaStop® function remains deactivated.

Drive not energized (brake applied/DynaStop® activated)

When motor standstill is reached, the brake is applied and the output stage is inhibited or the DynaStop® function is activated.
