Layout

Specifies how the bits of the status word are assigned.

The following settings are possible:

Setting	Meaning
Bits 0 – 5 FCB number / bits 6 – 15 programmable	The first 6 bits of the status word indicate the number of the active drive function (FCB number). The remaining bits can be freely assigned a required function. Select the function of the individual bits in the Layout parameter.
Bits 0 – 15 programmable	The bits of the status word can be freely assigned with any required function. Select the function of the individual bits in the Layout parameter.
