Description

The parameter is displayed for MOVI-C^® decentralized drive electronics in the DBC and DAC communication variants.

Specifies the startup mode of the device.

The following startup modes can be used:

Easy mode – The device can be started up quickly and easily without an engineering PC or CBG.. keypad.
Expert mode – The device can be started up according to the application.

The following settings are possible:

Setting	Meaning
Expert mode	Depending on the communication variant, the device has a predefined control interface via digital inputs/digital outputs or via control bits. Setpoints and drive functions can only be configured by means of mechanical control elements (DIP switches, potentiometer). The other parameters can only be read but not modified. To ensure that the device can be operated and configured using the mechanical setting elements as intended for Expert mode, the delivery state of all parameters is restored when switching to this parameter setting mode.
Expert mode	The control interface of the device can be chosen as required. Setpoints and drive functions can be configured both using the mechanical control elements (DIP switches, potentiometers) and via parameter access using MOVISUITE^® or the CBG.. keypad.
