About the SEW‑EURODRIVE Foundation

Prestigious awards for commendable achievements

The SEW‑EURODRIVE Foundation promotes scientific work and all stages in the development of scientific knowledge in the fields of technology and commerce. The foundation's work centers around the Ernst Blickle Award, which is presented every two years and is one of the highest-paying awards of its type, worth 100,000 euros. The company owner, Jürgen Blickle, chairs the foundation.

By honoring students and issuing research grants, the foundation recognizes the application of initiative, innovation, and genuine scientific spirit in the interest of technical progress and for the good of society as a whole. This picture shows the presentation of the Graduate Awards in 2024.
