It's now easier than ever to design your gearmotor. Our Online Support team has added a new online drive selection tool to its portfolio that offers recommendations of suitable gearmotors in just a few steps. We guide you through from the starting point you know best – your application.
The first step is to select your application, in the next step you will be asked to supply relevant data on that application, all of which will be familiar to you, and then – at the touch of a button – you will get an initial suggestion showing what your drive could look like. Comparisons included when more than one suitable gearmotor is identified.
The whole thing works without requiring a user login or registration. It is only when you send us a query about the drive or want to order it that we need your details so we can provide the best possible support and advice.
The key advantage is that you don't need to be an engineer or expert to work through your project planning at top speed. Quite the opposite, in fact – the process of selecting gearmotors couldn't be simpler.
You can use the new online tool to configure gearmotors comprising a gear unit from our standard modular concept (helical, parallel-shaft helical, helical-worm, helical-bevel and SPIROPLAN® right-angle gear units) and an asynchronous motor from our DRN.. portfolio.
The new compact extra-low voltage drives from SEW-EURODRIVE now complement our portfolio and are available via the tool.

Now all you have to do is enter the most important key data for your application. Straight away, and with no fuss, you will then be shown a direct comparison of initial recommendations for suitable gearmotors – all at the touch of a button.
Graphical elements help you see at a glance which of the suggested drives offers optimum capacity utilization for gear unit and motor. Price index columns and details on the relevant delivery times provide additional guidance.
