ZN.. series cycloidal gearmotors – compact, precise, powerful

Extreme precision under high acceleration torques – those are the outstanding features of ZN.. series cycloidal servo gearmotors. Their performance data makes them unique – whether you emphasize torque, stiffness or weight.

The gearmotor is shipped with lubrication for life, ready for installation and available in up to twelve sizes. We especially emphasize the features of the cycloidal servo gear unit: It excels by mechanical clearance and its high torsional stiffness and pull-out rigidity as well as excellent overload capacity. This allows even demanding tasks such as exact positioning or fast movement of heavy loads to be performed with a high degree of repetitive accuracy.

The MD adapter combines the advantages of a direct motor attachment with the benefits of an adapter attachment. Despite its enormous compactness, the MD adapter offers, in addition to the positive torque transmission, the option of easily replacing the CM3C servo motor.

The HN adapter provides a wide range of different possible motor mounting dimensions for even more flexible motor mounting by the customer. The mounting is carried out force-locking via a clamp coupling. The ZN.. cycloidal servo gear unit from SEW-EURODRIVE is optimally matched to operation on the servo inverters of the MOVI-C® automation system. The modular mounting via the MD and HN adapter complements the existing ZN.. CMP... cycloidal servo gearmotors in direct motor mounting.

ZN.. servo gear units

  • backlash-free servo gear unit
  • two-stage cycloidal gear unit
  • designed for acceleration torques between 612 Nm and 17500 Nm (36,750 Nm with direct motor mounting)
  • lubrication for life ex works
  • 5 times the permissible shock load
  • high power density
  • mechanical backlash-free
  • low mass moment of inertia
  • high positioning accuracy
  • gearbox can be used as main bearing
