Our P-X.e series planetary gear units are the perfect choice for applications that require a compact, robust solution with high thermal limiting power. These powerful, standardized industrial gear units combine the proven planetary gear units from the P or P2.e series with a helical bevel gear unit from the established X.e series. The big advantage: All mounting and equipment options of the X.e series are also available here.

In order to achieve the best possible thermal limiting performance, we take a holistic approach to oil temperature and lubrication. Functional surfaces, sophisticated oil quantities, different lubrication and cooling options and tested oil from SEW-EURODRIVE ensure the optimum solution for every application. An additional feature provides even more cooling in the P-X.e gear units: the cast-on intermediate flange on the primary gear unit not only connects both gear units, but also creates a common oil chamber. This ensures continuous oil circulation, which dissipates excess heat from the planetary gear unit.
