From cooperative study and StudiumPLUS to master programme and apprenticeship – in recent years, many of our students and trainees have been among the best in their year group. 2018 has proved no exception, with a large number of our graduates receiving various awards for their achievements.
Best bachelor thesis in all Technology study programs at DHBW Karlsruhe (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University)
Following a speech by the chairman of the support association at DHBW Karlsruhe, Marco D. was presented with an advancement awardHe was commended for outstanding work on his bachelor thesis at an awards ceremony at the Schwarzwaldhalle in Karlsruhe on November 10, 2018.
Best student of the dual course Electrical Engineering at DHBW Karlsruhe
Lukas S. was also congratulated at the ceremony on November 10 in Karlsruhe, for achieving the best overall result out of all students of the dual course Electrical Engineering.
Best-of-the-best awards at the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Karlsruhe)
At the IHK Karlsruhe awards ceremony at the Gartenhalle in Karlsruhe on November 8, 2018, an impressive 192 of the 4900 graduates were honored for achieving excellent overall results on their IHK diplomas (1.4 or better). Caroline H., Alexander H., Henrik S. and Felix K. – all StudiumPLUS students who completed a bachelor program with parallel IHK training – received awards for their outstanding exam results in the "Mechatronics technician" and "Electronics technician for industrial engineering" training programs. IHK technical trainees Julian B. (Industrial mechanic) and Jonathan S. (Electronics technician for units and systems) were also commended for their excellent performance.
IHK "Best in Region" awards for Baden-Württemberg
This year, 113 of a total of 49 500 IHK graduates received Baden-Württemberg "Best in Region" awards. Our StudiumPLUS student Alexander H. was presented with this top honor on November 23, 2018, at the Bodenseeforum in Konstanz for his training performance on the "Electronics technician for industrial engineering" program.
Master's with distinction
Our students on master's programs have also achieved first-class results. Tobias R., Marius H. and Kevin B. were awarded distinctions for their degrees. Kevin B. also received the Department Prize for his outstanding master’s thesis in the Computer Science Department at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
