To find time in one's schedule for trainings is not always an easy task. The organizers of the first paper industry day were well aware of this fact. "For this reason, we were even more happy that participants from all over Germany joined us for the 'SEW industry day - mechanical maintenance in the paper industry', says Christian Rüttling, market manager at SEW EURODRIVE.
Two different dates with half a day each were offered. About 20 decision makers from the area of mechanical maintenance/factory maintenance found their way to Bruchsal on each date. The agenda was as diverse as the applications. From guided tours through the plant for large gear units and the Graben-Neudorf manufacturing and logistics plant as well as the Service Competence Center, to presentations, workshops and guest presentations from external speakers. For example, the companies Bellmer GmbH Maschinenfabrik and Schaeffler Technologie AG & Co. KG shared their knowledge on topics not related to drive technology. The industry day placed special focus on the topics inspection and maintenance as well as retrofit.
However, the agenda also provided enough time for exchanging information, for example during the group dinner. The feedback from the participants was very positive. The possibility to share expertise among the paper industry professionals was particularly well perceived.
The concept of the organizing team seems to have worked out. We look forward to further industry days in the future. Maybe also including a topic of interest to you.
